-The collection's repertoire of large slabs features patterns inspired by two distinct sources: while one draws from the noble, always surprising veined texture of specific metamorphic rocks, the other takes its cue from the refined chromatic fields of marmorino. These two materials, albeit in different ways, refer to the historical Italian building culture. The geometry of a round arch is then used to outline possible combinations of the two decorations within the same ceramic, which takes on the appearance of a marvelous inlaid area to be combined with similar ones to generate a rich theory of figurative textures and possible two-dimensional designs, each characterized by a specific visual impact.
