-The repertoire of large slabs included in the collection features patterns inspired by two distinct sources: on the one hand, the noble, always surprising veined texture of some specific metamorphic rocks, and on the other hand, the suggestion comes from the refined chromatic fields of marmorino. These two materials, albeit for different reasons, refer to the historical Italian culture of building. The geometry of a round arch is then used to outline hypotheses for combining the two decorations within the same ceramic, which takes on the appearance of a wonderful inlaid area to be combined with others similar to it to generate a rich theory of figurative textures and possible two-dimensional designs, each characterized by a specific visual impact.
