Atmosphères is a collection with a rugged and elegant taste that reinterprets in a contemporary style the simple and informal luxury of Pierre Bleue, a sedimentary stone originating from Belgium that carries with it a deep and engaging energy. Its particular, delicately heterogeneous surface and subtle colour nuances tell a millennia-old story dating back to a very distant past, when the territory of modern-day Belgium was bathed by a sea rich in coral formations. Small organisms and fossilized marine residues, such as shells or wonderful sea lilies, are spontaneously incorporated into these rocks, creating a varied aesthetic effect with an ancient flavour.
