Collection: Plimatech - FLORIM

The inspiration of Plimatech of Florim's Architectural design comes from the heights of Val Martello in Alto Adige.

Modeled on a variety of granite called Plima, the collection combines the countless technical and design advantages of porcelain stoneware with the natural appearance and structure of an extremely rare stone. In fact, it was a local entrepreneur who discovered it in the 1980s when he had a large boulder extracted from the banks of the Plima river cut, thus revealing a sparkling grey-blue colored granite. This South Tyrolean pegmatite with unique characteristics stands out for its wavy texture, dotted with brilliant crystalline formations and light-dark mottles distributed in a variegated manner on the surface.
The Plimatech/ collection presents three different colors by adding to the typical grey-blue shade of Plima granite (reinterpreted with Plimagray), two other chromatic proposals, one in shades of white (Plimawhite) and the other in those of beige (Plimabeige), to offer the designer a wide range of compositional possibilities.

The aesthetic heterogeneity characteristic of natural stone is taken up in the collection through three graphic variations. The 01, the most minimal one, is gently veined and particularly suitable, especially in the large format, for giving character to architecture with a more essential taste. The 02 has a more varied appearance with slight shadings that tend towards white, designed to add a rough and material touch to the spaces. Finally, the 03 is characterized by a high number of crystalline formations which give it a more moving line, ideal for design contexts that seek a dialogue with the surrounding nature, between internal and external spaces.
