It is the most exclusive wood in the world, obtained from subtropical conifers felled by cataclysms and remained buried for tens of thousands of years: it is the Kauri from New Zealand, which inspires the wood-effect porcelain stoneware collection of the same name by La Fabbrica. A wood with an unmistakable aesthetic, which draws on ancient beauty to translate it into contemporary elegance within residential and commercial spaces. Kauri is available in six highly shaded nuances, each of which combines lighter and darker tones through knots and grains with unusual and evocative colours. The large number of graphics created for the ceramic slats, available in two surface finishes (natural and lapped), allows you to compose poses with extraordinary visual richness. This aesthetic variety translates into design richness, supported by the high technical qualities and extraordinary resistance of porcelain stoneware. With the Chevron decoration, Kauri pays homage to a classic wooden flooring pattern and at the same time expands design freedom, allowing the creation of multiple types of installations, in response to the most varied stylistic needs.
